A clear next step, every day.
DeepWorker connects what matters to the time you have. Start with one useful focus session. Add more when your routine feels sustainable.
Your daily loop
- Goals: describe the outcome, why it matters, and what success looks like. An Area keeps a business or personal responsibility organized.
- My System: choose wake time, bedtime, routines, protected focus blocks, and checklists. Changes create a new template version; existing days keep their history.
- Plan: create actionable tasks and allocate minutes into available focus blocks. A task can span several blocks, and a block can hold several tasks.
- Today: confirm you are up, follow the current instruction, and start each activity when you actually begin it. Required checklists come before the next transition.
- Progress: review outputs and recorded effort, then choose one practical improvement for next week.
Focus without losing the details
Describe the output before beginning. During focus, you can pause, switch to another scheduled task, record a distraction, or save a thought for later. The countdown uses recorded timestamps and restores after refresh. Ending early records the actual partial session.
The timer does not complete tasks automatically. In the session review, record what you produced, update remaining estimates or mark tasks complete, and finish the post-session checklist.
When real life changes the plan
Use Change plan in Today. You can record an exception for the current step or preview a shift of flexible activities. Fixed commitments and bedtime remain protected. Deferring work returns its time to the backlog; your earlier execution stays recorded.
Finish the current activity—or end and review an active focus session—before shifting the remaining schedule. Emergencies never require a partner’s permission.
Accountability that respects your boundaries
Invite someone you trust, describe the agreement, and preview the information you will share. Partners see only authorized categories and Areas. Private motivations, Worry List entries, and attachments are excluded. You can revoke access at any time.
A partner can accept an invitation without setting up their own daily routine. Pending invitations do not block your day.
Connected apps
Trello and Google Calendar are optional. Connect them under Settings → Connected apps, select the boards and calendars, and review their mappings. Trello keeps shared card fields; DeepWorker keeps your personal goals, estimates, plans, and execution history.
Calendar visibility, busy time, and write destinations are separate choices. A board-specific destination takes precedence over its Area and personal defaults. External changes to generated focus reservations appear as conflicts to review.
Reminders and offline check-ins
Choose channels by category under Settings → Notifications. Quiet hours apply to external reminders. Web push requires a supported browser and permission; Telegram requires pairing your account.
During a brief outage, supported check-ins can be saved on your device. They remain visibly pending until confirmed by the server. Keep the app open to synchronize; conflicting actions require review. Starting a day or focus session and editing a plan require a connection.
Understanding your progress
Focus time excludes pauses. Planned time is reserved capacity, not proof of work. Outputs, distractions, wake times, and bedtime are self-reported. Bedtime-to-wake intervals are not measured sleep. Missed days stay visible without erasing completed work.
